We are praying that God will still use us - perhaps even more now.
God has graciously blessed us with a 1993 Avion 5th wheel, and a 2003 Dodge Ram Truck. The Avion is paid for - Praise the Lord! And the truck is being paid on - Praise the Lord for His provisions to even make the payments!
We have spent a lot of this last month working on the 5th wheel - getting it cleaned and loaded and an order put to it.
We were able (finally) to take it to the lake and try it out. So far, everything works!!! Praise the Lord!!!
(Pictures coming! LOL)
We have enjoyed time with other family as well. Time to have conversation. Time to play Mexican Train dominoes - laughing, teasing, even hollering! LOL
These rough nites make the loneliness even greater and more intense. There are times that Rick is so uncomfortable and in so much distress and pain - times that i can do nothing more than sit, cry and pray for him. Not so much pain due to the dialysis, but due to neuropathy in his feet and legs, and because of the dialysis & kidney failure he is limited on the types of medications he can take now to help ease the pain and discomfort.
We did find out in our week trip to the lake in the RV that he sleeps better in the RV than he does in the house. He can be hooked to the cycler at night in the RV and still roam the full house, even able to go outside if he wants. Where as here in this house, he is limited to our bedroom, possibly a few steps on the front porch, and to step into the dining room. Not much room to roam - house is just too big and too many corners for the tubing.
Life is LIFE.
And we have decided that whatever life God gives us to LIVE - we want to LIVE and not die. Trusting Him with all our heart, leaning not on our own understanding, in all our ways acknowledging Him ... and He promises to direct our paths and make them straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Pray for us ... please.
