![]() Life ... sometimes good ... sometimes not so good. Lately it has been crazy and busy for us ... God is always good and faithful. Even on our worst days, He is still God, and He is still good. His Grace is still Amazing ... and His Love is still Unending. That is our hope ... our promise ... and our sanity!!!!! ![]() We were blessed to be able to go to Paris and see our beautiful daughter graduate with an Associate's Degree. She has worked so hard for this! I know that she has done without sleep and without "fun" to study and to work in order to pay for this. And I know that there have been many times she has questioned "Why even try?" She has felt alone in her struggles. But I want her to know that she is NEVER alone! We are so proud of her! We could not be more proud of her! She has done this while working, while raising 2 kids, while keeping house and cooking meals. It was an honor to be there and be LOUD and PROUD!!!!! --and yes, sweet daughter, i know that you do not like your picture ... but i am one PROUD momma!!!!! So, this one MUST be here!!!!! (forgive me - lol! love you!!!!!) ![]() Our kids blessed us Memorial Day weekend - Pat & Charlie came out, rented a cabin, and brought Mandy, Elijah, and Brooklyn!!! Then, on Sunday that weekend, Joshua, Dessie, Shell and Kyla came over!!! So much laughter and joy!!! Grannee got hugs and wet hugs!!! LOL We had a meal together Sunday afternoon - in spite of the rain! Scott allowed us to use the back porch of the Texas Star for gathering under cover - and it was so much fun! We invited Scott, Brock & April, Kent, Tom & Mary - and oh the stories, the laughter!!! The food was good - but it was not near as good to me as the fellowship!!! So good to be surrounded by loved ones - family and friends! Precious time ... awesome memories!!!!! ![]() We have been helping out here at Coffee Creek - 3+ hours per day, as needed. Some days are longer than others - depends on what needs done, and how many "hands on deck". :) On our first day here, Mary Ann told us "we are just a big family here at Coffee Creek" ... and now, we believe that! We have coffee time every morning at the office ... laughter, stories, teasing, prayer requests and praise reports ... We all pull together and work to clean and repair and maintain the level of Coffee Creek RV park and resort ... We have Monday night meals at the Texas Star (one of the meeting rooms) - I think this is my favorite time of all. Again, yes, the food is good. But the fellowship is just AWESOME!!! We are so blessed and fortunate to be here ... every day we thank God for bringing us here! ![]() Rick has gotten a good report from the doctor and the dialysis center the last 2 times we went. Praise the Lord! Dr Greenwell told him to keep doing what he is doing! His blood work is showing good. His medications have been decreased. His blood sugars are running more normal - even without medications, and on less than 1/2 of the insulin he was taking! He is sleeping better - tired does that! LOL Dr Greenwell told us this last Wednesday that he thought this was the BEST thing for Rick to do! And he said that if anyone had anything negative to say about what we are doing - give them his number and he would handle it! LOL
