Ricky Lee McCoy

​Ricky Lee McCoy was born November 28, 1959 to Jimmy and Mary Lou (Walker) McCoy in Sulphur Springs, TX.
He married Margaret Lunsford on September 5, 1980 in Sulphur Springs, TX.
Rick died April 23, 2015 at home.
Visitation was held on April 25, 2015 at the Tapp Funeral Home, 215 Gilmer St. Sulphur Springs TX from 6-8 p.m.
A Celebration of Rick's life was held on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at New Beginnings Church in Sulphur Springs TX at 2 p.m.

Rick is survived by his wife, Margaret.
His son, Joshua McCoy and wife Dessie.
His daughter, Angel McCoy.
4 grandchildren - Elijah Thompson, Brooklyn Thompson, Shell McCoy, Kyla McCoy.
Also survived by his parents, Jimmy & Mary Lou McCoy.
A sister, Tina Knotts and her husband David.

He has left a legacy of Faith, of Passion, of Love - with his family, his friends, his co-workers, his church.

Rick was a salesman, and a truck driver.
He was also an ordained deacon in the Baptist church, as well as a licensed and ordained Baptist minister.

An honest man.
